What is a brand?

In short, a brand can be a name, symbol or logo of any company or organization. If you are an artist, then you want a more abstract and contemporary brand. The shapes and symbols are good choices to give the appearance abstract.

Your brand should be unique and recognizable

What you want is for people to see a visual representation of your company or business. When people see your brand, you want to immediately associate that brand design with you and not to any other company. Using a common image goes against the purpose of having a trademark, and may also have a negative impact on your audience as they may think that your company is a little creative.
